ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain’s term will end today (Saturday).
While speaking at his farewell meeting with officers and staff of the President House, Mamnoon said, the country’s development and prosperity lie in rule of law and supremacy of the Constitution.
President Mamnoon further said that he is leaving the presidential slot after completing his term with full satisfaction.
Hussain stressed that he has completed his responsibilities with honesty.

The president further claimed that during his tenure, he remained within the constitutional limits and powers.
He thanked his staff member for their cooperation and enabling him to fulfill his official duties.
Hussain concluded by advising his staff to pay special attention towards the education and training of their children for Pakistan’s better future and development of the society.
On September 4, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Dr. Arif Alvi was elected as the 13th president of Pakistan and is scheduled to take oath as the country’s president on September 9.
